Following on from the Louvre and Trocadéro, the world's leading specialist in long-stay hotels has chosen the Rue de Bassano, a stone's throw from the Champs-Elysées, as the location for the third establishment in its luxury brand The Crest Collection. "Launched in April 2016, The Crest Collection by The Ascott Limited confirms the group's desire to position itself in the luxury segment. The new residence La Clef Champs-Elysées Paris is housed in a Haussmann-style building constructed in 1907. The building, which is steeped in history and was once the residence of the Hennessy family, founders of the famous cognac house, underwent a complete transformation over a two-year period. Entirely redesigned by the Jean-Philippe Nuel studio, already at work on theMolitor Hotel in Paris or for the transformation of the former Hôtel-Dieu in Marseille into the InterContinental, the venue now presents contemporary design which retains the chic, Parisian spirit of its origins. "Our credo on this project was to sublimate the historic elements in the communal areas and renew the codes of the hotel industry to offer a unique overnight experience."said Jean-Philippe Nuel.
The decoration of the 70 rooms and suites plays on the contrast between contemporary furniture specially designed for the establishment and a classic setting with a strong sense of style. mouldings, fireplaces and herringbone parquet flooring. La Clef Champs-Elysées Paris offers 29 hotel-style rooms, the rest of which are suites, two-bedrooms and duplexes with terraces. Business travellers will find all the essentials of long-stay hotels, including a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. The residence aims to offer its customers excellent service 24-hour concierge service, luggage and valet services, laundry, L'Occitane welcome products, buffet or room service breakfast, 24-hour room service and fitness room.
