How did your urban residences perform in 2010?
Laurent Basnier - With the economic recovery, companies have once again launched major projects and, consequently, booked long stays. And, as a corollary of the merger with Accor, we have seen an increase in the number of business customers staying for 4 to 9 nights, which was previously the preserve of leisure customers.
Are your customers French or international?
L. B. - It's really a question of location. In the provinces, French customers are in the majority, whereas in cities like Paris, Vienna or Berlin, they are mainly international. In both cases, it's the location of our establishments that counts. We take care to ensure that the area in which we are located is charming, rather like an area where you would choose to live. If our establishments are not visible from the main roads, it's not essential, as long as the customer is attracted.
How are you developing?
L. B. - Today, at Adagio, we are focused on a very large Europe, extended to Russia and the Middle East. We're continuing our coverage of France with the opening of Caen and Vincennes this year, after Marseille in 2010. Internationally, last year saw the arrival of Brussels, Berlin and Vienna. This year, we will be opening in Munich and Abu Dhabi. We also have many projects underway, notably in London, Liverpool, Manchester and Moscow.
