
While calls for strike are multiplying in FranceThe British unions were the first to take action. Since Sunday, the Tube is undergoing strike action which is affecting tube travel in central London. Transport for London (TFL) has warned users to expect the strike to have a major impact until Thursday, with little or no Tube service. According to the London operator's forecasts, the peak of the disruption is expected on the days of 9 and 11 September.


For the Monday 8 to Thursday 11 Septemberforecasts and instructions Transport for London are as follows for the metro: "Disruptions expected throughout the network, little or no service, no service before 8 a.m., finish your journey before 6 p.m." indicates the operator. In addition, the Elizabeth line should generally escape the strike action. However, there may be disruption at stations shared with the metro.
The demands of the striking staff mainly concern wages and weekly working hours.
