
The German company Lufthansa to strengthen its offering in the United States from its two hubs in Frankfurt and Munich for the 2024 summer season. The carrier will offer three new routes. From Frankfurt, the company will be launching services to Minneapolis/St Paul and Raleigh-Durham. These two destinations will each be served by five weekly frequencies. Flights to Minneapolis will start on 4 June, and those to Raleigh-Durham on 6 June.
From Munich, the airline will launch a daily flight to Seattleto complement its daily service from Frankfurt. Munich will also see six Airbus A380which will mainly serve the United States. These are Boston, Boston, Los Angeles, New York (JFK) and Washington D.C..
From next summer, Lufthansa will therefore be offering a total of 27 American destinations, significantly more than before the Covid period.
Note that from Munich, Lufthansa will also be offering flights to Johannesburg and Hong Kong for the 2024 summer season. The German carrier ceased services to Johannesburg in 2005.
