
Malaysia Airlines' entry into Oneworld seems to be stimulating the airline's appetite for growth, as it continues to open new routes and increase frequencies on its network. On 5 August, Malaysia Airlines returned to Dubai with a daily service from Kuala Lumpur. The 1er Last September, the airline also resumed service to Kochi (Cochin) in India, with one daily flight. These new services will be followed on November 1 by the inauguration of five weekly frequencies between Kuala Lumpur and Darwin, capital of Australia's Northern Territory. While flights to Dubai will be operated with a Boeing 777 in a two-class configuration, those to Kochi and Darwin will be operated with Boeing 737-800s reconfigured as long-haul aircraft and equipped with a business class.
