The big names in the North American hotel industry are sprucing up their Boston showcases around the famous Copley Place. A few weeks after the Fairmont Copley Plaza completed its renovation, it was the Marriott hotel's turn to get a facelift. The Back Bay establishment has just completed a comprehensive five-year renovation programme, which will have seen all the hotel's facilities undergo a facelift. The 1,100 or so rooms, as well as the 6,500 m² of meeting space and the fitness centre, have all been brought up to date, and the technology on offer has been upgraded.
