MGallery Collection: successful transformation in Biarritz

The Accor group's MGallery collection has moved into Biarritz with a renovated 149-room hotel, topped by a rooftop with a swimming pool and a restaurant designed by Eric Fréchon. Also on offer are 11 modular meeting rooms.

The Accor group's intimate luxury brand has just set up in Biarritz, just a stone's throw from the ocean and the famous Basque coast.

The result of the takeover of a former Radisson Blu, which became the property of the Annie Famose group and Extendam in 2023, the hotel has been completely renovated to become the Talaia Hotel & Spa Biarritz - MGallery Collection. The new décor, designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, reflects the spirit and colours of the region, but is symbolised above all by the following features a high-flying rooftop. With a view stretching out over the ocean, it also boasts a restaurant, La Petite Plage, with a menu designed by three-starred chef Éric Fréchon, combining local and French flavours with Mediterranean touches. As for the bar's signature cocktail, it also plays on exchanges, combining rum infused with Espelette chilli, spiked with a few drops of Patxaran.
