The modernisation programme has five main focuses: the redevelopment of Halls E and F in the Central Terminal; the expansion of the South Terminal; the renovation of the doors in Hall D to accommodate more aircraft; new facilities to accommodate aircraft and develop freight; and the construction of a new airport. two new hotels. This last element should be of interest to business travellers, especially as one of the two planned establishments will house a business and conference centre.
