The 2025 results for the Grimaldi Forum Monaco confirm the new dimension of the MICE sector

Remarkable though they are, the record results celebrated a few days ago at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco were relatively predictable. A year earlier, in a interview with Voyages d'Affaires, Managing Director Sylvie Biancheri was already banking on a year 2025 that would be unprecedented in terms of business activity. And with good reason: the Monegasque MICE sector was celebrating - in addition to its 25e anniversary - the inauguration of an extension that opened up some very promising prospects.

Since 13 January, observers of business tourism in the Principality have been able to put figures to this inevitably optimistic trend. And they can look ahead to 2026. The Grimaldi Forum saw its sales take off last year (+17%), reaching 28 million euros. The new event spaces inaugurated with the extension achieved an occupancy rate of one third, in line with the MICE division's objectives for its first year of operation.

The Grimaldi Forum also boasted record attendance figures, driven in particular by professional events, some of which reached unprecedented volumes. Notable among these was the AMWC (Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress), whose 2025 edition attracted no fewer than 17,000 participants over 4 days, taking over the entire exhibition space, including the new extension.

" The year 2025 will be a major turning point for the Grimaldi Forum. The loyalty of our customers, the increased attractiveness of the site and our ability to attract new international events will enable us to enter a new phase in our development. "says Sylvie Biancheri, General Manager of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.

This new dimension acquired by the Monaco spotlight allows its management to look forward to 2026 with optimism, and solid guarantees for the coming months. " Buoyed by the renewed confidence of its long-standing customers and the arrival of new customers, mainly European, the Grimaldi Forum Monaco is enjoying a very positive momentum, and has already achieved its increased sales target for 2026. "They also took the opportunity to do a little teasing about the upcoming dates. They also took the opportunity to do a little teasing about the 2026 dates: " This year's programme also includes events that contribute to the Principality's appeal, such as the Michelin Guide ceremony, the Sports Ministers' Conference and La Vuelta, as well as promising second editions such as the Forbes Travel Guide Summit. ".
