The partnership formalised on 11 June between Hilton Worldwide and Eden Group will begin to bear fruit in October 2014, with the American hotelier taking over two properties, which will then become the Hilton Nay Pyi Taw and the Hilton Ngapali Beach Resort. Three other hotels are already on Hilton's programme in Myanmar, and will open their doors over the next three years: the Hilton Bagan and the Hilton Inle Lake in 2016, followed by the Hilton Mandalay in 2017.
