The renovation of Korean Air's business lounge in Los Angeles is nearing completion. After 22 months of work, a privileged few have been able to walk through the doors to discover the airline's new VIP offer. But the official inauguration will have to wait until 6 March.

The Korean Air lounge is located on the upper floors of the Tom Bradley international terminal. It covers a total surface area of 1,675 m², making it the largest lounge operated by Korean Air abroad. This XXL space is spread over two floors: the First Class lounge is located on the 6th floor, and the Miler Club & Prestige Class lounge on the 5th floor. It is intended to embody "a refined interpretation of modern Korean luxury".

Business travellers will appreciate the modernity of the Miler Club zone, where they can order food directly from their seat using a QR code system. The lounge is also equipped with shower cubicles, and there are two private suites in the First Class zone.

" With the opening of this iconic lounge, Korean Air will further strengthen its presence at LAX while offering a more refined and differentiated premium travel experience. "says David Pacey, Executive Vice President and Head of Inflight and Lounge Services at Korean Air. " We will continue to invest in our services and infrastructure to exceed the expectations of our international customers. ".

The investment made by Korean Air - almost 40 million euros - is of course justified by the status of Los Angeles on the Korean Air world map. LAX is the airline's main gateway to North America, and an essential hub linking Asia, the United States and Latin America. But Korean Air has no intention of confining itself to California. A new lounge will be inaugurated later this year at New York JFK.
