More than 150,000 m² built on a 17-hectare site, with a capacity of 30,000 people and 3,200 parking spaces: Brazil's new conference centre is over the top. Recently inaugurated in the state of Ceará, the building also aims to blend in with the local landscape and craftsmanship, thanks to its architectural design and sustainable features. The Ceará Events Centre can host up to 48 events simultaneously. It bears witness to Brazil's new ambitions in terms of business tourism. More than 300 international events were organised in Brazil last year - an increase of 10% compared with 2010 - and the country ranks 7th in the world in terms of number of events organised.th in the annual rankings of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
