A break that's as healthy as it is productive. That's what Okko Hôtels will be doing in 2018, between two phases of development. "Since our inception in 2014, we have opened eight hotels in four yearsexplains Solenne Devys, product and communications manager for the design and business brand. With this intense pace of development, this year without an opening will allow us to settle down and consolidate what has been put in place. Above and beyond the average price or occupancy rate, our obsession is customer satisfaction. Whether we have eight hotels today, fifteen tomorrow, or fifty later, the quality must always be the same. "

After a year marked by the inauguration of two - one in Paris, near Porte de Versaillesand the other in Strasbourg -and just before the appearance of a new version of hotelsdesigned this time by Studio Catoir and not by the Patrick Norguet agency like its predecessors, the brand is giving itself time to consider its future. With its next establishments, due to open near Paris's Gare de l'Est and Montparnasse stations in 2019, in Lille and Toulon in 2020, and in Meudon and La Défense in 2021, Okko Hôtels will be opening up to new horizons. Until now, the brand has offered accommodation mainly for individual business travellers, and new rooms have been designed for double occupancy, more suited to a leisure target.

  • Room at the Okko Strasbourg.
  • Espace Le Club du Okko Strasbourg.
  • A business-oriented hotel industry.

The brand will also be expanding its initial model, which is currently based around small but perfectly appointed designer rooms, plus Le Club, a sort of executive lounge where customers can relax and enjoy a snack at any time. A spa is also planned for the future establishment near Montparnasse station. Above all, and from a perspective more geared towards business travellers, the future Okko will now offer meeting rooms. "We don't intend to specialise in seminars, but in response to demand we have decided to equip our next hotels with rooms for around fifteen people.says Solenne Devys. These rooms will have the same high aesthetic standards as our clubs, but will also have a "home from home" atmosphere, with everything available to participants, including tea, coffee and top-of-the-range snacks."Technology will also be at the forefront, with connected flipcharts.

Finally, Okko Hôtels will also launch its first restaurant within the hotel, expected in 2021. in the La Défense districtclose to the U Arena. In addition to the Le Club area for its residents, the hotel will offer an urban canteen concept where spectators of matches and shows staged in the new stadium, business district executives and, of course, hotel guests can meet to enjoy healthy cuisine at lunchtime and afterwork formulas in the evening.
