
Air France has just announced the first of the new destinations it will be launching in 2025. These will be Orlando in the United States. The American capital of theme parks will thus become the Air France's 18th destination in the United States and its 25th in North America. Orlando will be the second city served by Air France in Florida, after Miami. Orlando thus follows the recent launch of services on Portland, Oregon, by KLM.
The new line is due to be launched on 21 May. departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Air France to operate 4 weekly frequencies Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The company has selected theAirbus A350-900 equipped with 34 seats in the Business cabin, 24 in Premium and 266 in Economy.
From Paris CDG, the flight will take off at 5.05pm arriving in Orlando at 8.45pm. For the return journey, the flight will leave Orlando at 23:00 for an arrival at 13:30 the following day.
Orlando, with its many theme parks, is the number one tourist destination in the United States. En 2023, the city welcomed 74 million visitors, including 6.13 million international tourists. The number of European visitors reached last year 1.8 million, the United Kingdom and Germany being the top two issuing markets.
As for the airport, it is one of the largest in the United States. He recorded 57.7 million passengers by 2023including over 7 million on international routes.
