Back in Cannes. The Radisson group, which had left the town after the former Radisson Blu 1835 was rebranded as Canopy by Hilton, is making its return to the Azurean city with the opening of the Radisson Hotel Cannes Seaside. The result of the acquisition and transformation of a former four-star hotel, the Luxotel, this new establishment is located on the seafront, about ten minutes from the Croisette and the Palais des Festivals.

Terraces, a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, proximity to the beaches, a Mediterranean-focused restaurant and bar, La Palma: this urban resort offers moments of relaxation for both leisure guests and those just passing through. However, its leafy setting is also ideal for organising receptions and events overlooking the Mediterranean. Furthermore, in addition to these outdoor spaces, the hotel has two day-lit rooms that can accommodate up to 150 people and complements this MICE offering with personalised catering for groups.

To host participants, the Radisson Hotel Cannes Seaside has 100 rooms, divided into four categories – Standard, Superior, Premium, and Junior Suites, with most of them featuring a balcony overlooking the sea or the hotel gardens. Cannes stands out as one of the most renowned European destinations, equally for leisure tourism and major events. » stated Yilmaz Yildirimlar, COO Managed Hotels Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, highlighting that France remained “ one of the strategic markets of the group.

As proof, its presence recently extended to a secondary destination, Bourges, in anticipation of the spotlight that the European Capital of Culture status will offer the city of Jacques Cœur in 2028. Recently opened, the Hotel & Spa des Beaux-Arts has joined the "light" brand Radisson Individuals, which brings together boutique hotels with character.

Fruit of the transformation of a historic building in the heart of the medieval centre of Bourges, close to the Palais Jacques Cœur and the UNESCO-listed Saint-Étienne Cathedral, the establishment offers 52 rooms and suites inspired by the artistic heritage of Bourges, some rooms offering views of its historic streets. As its name suggests, the Hotel & Spa des Beaux-Arts has a wellness area with a sauna, whirlpool bath and massage rooms, while on the dining side, the establishment offers an in-house tapas bar and a brasserie.

" This opening allows us to combine the unique character of this historic address with the international standards of Radisson Hotel Group. Our ambition is to create a place where every guest feels genuinely welcomed while discovering the heritage, culture and hospitality that make Bourges such a special destination. ', said Jean-Arnaud Omam Biyik, the general manager of this hotel, which incorporates sustainable components such as LED lighting, intelligent energy management, and water-saving initiatives, whilst prioritising local sourcing.
