London Gatwisk has therefore decided to reduce its operations to 800 flights a dayfor both departures and arrivals. The measure is due to remain in force until 1 October.
Over the period in question, the busiest day - 29 October - saw 865 aircraft movements. According to the schedule provided by airport management, these six days of restrictions should result in 164 flight cancellations.
