Ritz-Carlton arrives in Chengdu

A ninth Ritz-Carlton hotel opened its doors in China this week, in Chengdu. The 353-room establishment marks the arrival of the American hotelier in south-west China, in a particularly dynamic business destination.

The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu officially opened its doors on 9 October, in the city centre of the Chinese metropolis. The hotel's 41 floors overlook Tianfu Square, providing a strategic base for the many business travellers visiting the capital of Sichuan. The hotel - the 19th Ritz-Carlton in Asia Pacific - has 353 rooms and 1,700 m² of meeting space for up to 900 guests. The hotel also features a beauty salon, fitness centre and indoor swimming pool with aquatic sound system.
