Automating the expense claim process as far as possible: that's the aim of the new bridge being built between SAP Concur and Mastercard. The partnership announced at the end of March is due to be made available".for certain customers worldwide from the second quarter of 2024". In practical terms, thanks to this collaboration between the two partners, transactions made with Mastercard corporate cards will be captured and automatically integrated into the Concur Expense. In addition, an alert will be sent to the user if further information is required.

Alongside this partnership with Mastercard, SAP Concur has also announced other new functionalities, this time to enhance the reservation business travel. The tool Concur Travel will integrate data from Thrust Carbon to better measure the environmental impact of each business trip, with objective data derived from a recognised, agnostic calculator. Another practical integration for travellers: the connection between Concur Travel and Microsoft Teams now enables travellers to share their booking details with their colleagues, so that they can travel together if necessary. Finally, SAP Concur has set up a direct integration with several major players in the business travel sector, including American Express GBT, BCDCWT RoomIt, FCTG and HRS. This connection should provide travellers with greater choice and clarity when making their reservations.
