Singapore airport's return to normal speeds up

Air traffic is picking up in Singapore, and the authorities have just announced the partial reopening of Terminal 2. The entire infrastructure - including an expansion of T2 - should be available again by 2024.

Changi Airport Group (CAG), which manages theSingapore airportannounced on Monday 23 May that the Terminal 2 (T2) operations will resume on 29 May. This is the first phase of the reopening of the terminalas the airport prepares for the increase in passenger traffic over the coming months.

Closed for refurbishment modernisation From May 2020, the gradual reopening of T2 will increase the airport's capacity. When completed in 2024, the terminal's capacity will increase by five million passengers a year, to reach 28 million.
