On the second day of the strike action which began on Tuesday, the mobilisation of air traffic controllers remains strong at Lille airport. As yesterday, the airlines - Air France, Aigle Azur, Vueling and Chalair - have had to cancel their flights, while Ryanair is once again opting for the Belgian alternative, diverting its flights to Charleroi and offering a bus service.
Another industrial action is also disrupting travel this Wednesday, further south: the airports of Bastia and Ajaccio are paralysed by a strike by Air France ground staff. Here too, flights will have to be diverted to other airports on the island of Beauty: "No commercial flights will be able to be handled at Bastia and Ajaccio airports, so the regional airline has been forced to reorganise its flight schedule at Calvi and Figari airports", warns Air Corsica on its website.
