How to get there
Rail
Stuttgart is the main metropolis in south-west Germany. The city is ideally situated from the France with high-speed trains linking it several times a day to Paris and Strasbourg. Karlsruhe is the city in Baden-Württemberg closest to France, 30 minutes by TGV from Strasbourg and 2h30 from Paris.
Air
Stuttgart also has a large airport linked to the city centre by a regional train. Air France offers two to three flights a day from Paris-CDG. Twin Jet resumes from 20 September the Stuttgart-Lyon with three flights a week. Eurowings also serves Nice with 2 to 4 flights a week. There are also two to three flights a day with Brussels operated by Eurowings. Karlsruhe is easily accessible from Strasbourg airport.

Karlsruhe
A large number of hotels are located close to the exhibition and convention centrehalfway between the central station and the historic city, less than 10 minutes' walk from both destinations. Stuttgart

Stuttgart
Stuttgart is considered one of Germany's gastronomic capitals. At the same time, the town is surrounded by vineyards with grape varieties that can be found in many of the town's bars.
Located on the first floor of the Municipal Museum of Fine Arts (Kunstmuseum Stuttgart), Cube Restaurant offers a panoramic view of Schlossplatz, its castle and gardens. Located in a typical shop from the early 60s, the space belongs to the city of Stuttgart, which displays all the grape varieties produced in its municipal area. Karlsruhe
The centre of Karlsruhe literally radiates from its castleFormerly the residence of the Electors and then the Grand Dukes of Baden. The baroque residence houses the Baden Museum. While the adjacent gardens are home to the State Fine Arts Gallery. All the streets in Karlsruhe lead off from the castle in a fan-shaped pattern. Lovers of shopping will find what they are looking for along the Kaiserstrasse where all the big brands come together, while the Erbprinzenstrasse hosts design and fashion boutiques from local designers.
Stuttgart
Fans of old cities will certainly be disappointed by Stuttgart. Heavily bombed during the Second World War, the city has a resolutely modern face. But its geographical location - nestling at the foot of vine-covered hills - is not lacking in charm. If the place du château with the old renaissance castle, the arcades and the baroque castle, l'former Collegiate Churchthe State Theatre or the Calwer Strasse have been rebuilt, the city is made up more of buildings from the 50s to the 70s. In this respect, Stuttgart is the perfect embodiment of the years of the German economic miracle of the Adenauer or Ludwig Ehrard era.
