TAP Air Portugal has just announced increase the number of frequencies on the transatlantic route. The two main countries affected by this rise in power are France and Germany. United States and Brazil.
To the United States, Portugal's national airline will be offering two daily flights on Boston during the summer compared to 9 weekly flights during the summer of 2022. The carrier will offer ten weekly frequencies on Miami as well as on Washington Dulles. It will also add an extra weekly flight to Chicago O'Hare and San Francisco. A total of 5 flights a week to these two destinations.
All in all, TAP Air Portugal to serve 8 US destinations from Lisbon and Porto, offering more than 31,000 seats a week at the height of the summer season.
About Brazil, the company is strengthening all its routes. It will offer an additional weekly frequency on its routes between Lisbon and Belem, Belo Horizonte, Brasilia and Salvador de Bahia. On Sao Paulo-Guarulhos InternationalThe airline will be offering up to two additional weekly flights. Finally, on Caracas in Venezuela, TAP Air Portugal will increase its number of weekly flights from two to three.
