
The Hilton Tapestry Collection continues to expand in Europe. After Paris, Madrid and Porto, the upmarket lifestyle hotel brand is adding another major destination to its offering: Venice. Or to be more precise Mestre, on the other side of the lagoonThe hotel will cater for both tourists and business travellers, as the land side of Venice and its port is a major logistics and industrial hub.
This entry into the Venetian market is made possible by the franchising of Ambasciatori Venice Mestre, located 800 metres from one of Italy's busiest railway stations. For the occasion, this four-star hotel is well known to the film world and television will be undergoing renovation work to recapture the glamour of its past, with a touch of contemporary design. When it reopens early next year, the establishment will offer 83 roomsA bar and restaurant, as well as a fitness room. As a business destination, business customers will find a 100 m2 space dedicated to meetings and events, divided into three rooms.
This new hotel joins three other Hilton hotels in operation in Veniceunder the Hilton, DoubleTree and Hilton Garden Inn brands.
