TAP's American dream is about to get a little higher. The airline has just taken delivery of two Airbus A330-200s, due to take to the skies between now and June. Their mission is clear: to expand the Portuguese carrier's activities in the United States, and "to offer American travellers a programme encouraging them to choose Lisbon as their preferred stopover when travelling to/from abroad", according to the press release published on 25 January. It remains to be seen which American destinations will be favoured by TAP, which has already launched the regulatory procedures to obtain the necessary authorisations.
