A new payment method is currently being tested on l'SNCF Assistant application : Edenred Mobility Ticket. From 28 October to 18 December 2021, this solution offered by the world leader in digital payment solutions for specific uses will be available on the rail company's app.
This experiment goes hand in hand with the transition from commuting to soft mobility as part of the Sustainable mobility packageThis will come into force in May 2020 in line with the LOM law. As a reminder, companies have the option of covering the transport costs of their employees between home and work, up to a maximum of 500 euros per year. Of course, this only applies to soft mobility, i.e. bicycles, scooters and electric scooters, car-sharing and self-service cars, but also to public transport other than season tickets.
In this context, theedenred's Ticket Mobilité adds new features to the SNCF Assistant. Journeys eligible for this method of payment are indicated on the application by a pop-up, and passengers can pay directly on the application for their "home-work" TER journeys. The SNCF is adding to the network of Edenred Ticket Mobilité partners, which since June has included Lime, MyPangee, Cityscoot, IZIVIA, Ubeeqo, BlaBlaCar Daily and E.Leclerc.
At the same time, the SNCF Assistant application is continuing to develop.extend the number of cities where passengers can buy and validate paperless public transport tickets. Menton and Morlaix, two towns in the Keolis network - have been added to the fifteen other conurbations where this option already exists (Belfort, Cholet, Draguignan, Evreux, Guérande, Maubeuge, Montbéliard, Nevers, Poitiers, Les Sables d'Olonne, Saint Brieuc, Saint-Lô, Saint Nazaire, Sophia Antipolis and Troyes).
