When can business travel resume, and under what conditions? This is the question that has been on the minds of everyone involved in the market since the outbreak of the health crisis. The GBTA (Global Business Travel Association) surveyed the main stakeholders - suppliers, business travel agencies and, above all, travel managers and buyers (43% on the panel) - to find out the temperature. Like the previous study published a month earlier by the association, the situation is uncertain. The majority of respondents (54%) have already considered the idea of resuming travel, but say they are unable to specify a date.

However, if business travel professionals are to be believed, this recovery could well take place in the "near future". A large majority of those surveyed (84%) are even expecting an upturn in international travel between now and 2010. two monthsand 36% in six months' time. But here again, the situation is uncertain: 23% of those surveyed are unable to anticipate such a recovery.

Finally, perhaps the only consensus lies in the longer-term impact of the health crisis. 77% of those questioned believe that this episode will change the way their company operates.
