After the recent announcement of two openings in ScotlandThe voco brand is confirming its dynamism worldwide with a new development expected later this year in Australia, in the centre of Brisbane. To underpin its expansion, this brand, with its informal, contemporary and warm style, relies mainly on conversion of independent hotels such as the Franklin in New York and the Grand Central in Glasgow. The brand's future lies as much in the Middle East - in Jeddah and Doha, for an all-suite establishment - as in the Asia-Pacific region. Voco, which made its big debut in Australia in 2018, is expecting new hotels in the region, in Brisbane, but also in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland. Expansion is also planned in China where, after its first hotel in Hangzhou, the brand will be setting up in Wuhan and Nanjing.
