
Growing fast around the world, the voco contemporary brand is undoubtedly one of IHG's proudest brands, with some 40 hotels already opened and almost as many more in the pipeline since its launch in 2018, and a presence in more than 25 countries.
If this boom had already passed through France, with the voco Paris Montparnasse in 2020 and the voco Strasbourg Centre in 2021, further developments are expected in 2023. In Avignon, the Hotel Bristol will join the brand next February, and the British hotelier has announced a second hotel in Parisvoco Paris Porte de Clichy.
After the area around Montparnasse station, the brand is due to open in the 17th arrondissement, near the Paris ring road, in summer 2023. just a stone's throw from the new Paris District Court. The future hotel is part of the emerging new district near the courthouse designed by Renzo Piano and recently served by metro line 14. This means convenient access for business travellers.
Owned by Catella Hospitality, the establishment will be housed in an existing building, the current Holiday Inn, converted into a voco de 264 rooms. All of this will be designed in a sustainable spirit by Oscar Lucien Ono, founder of the interior design agency Maison Numéro 20. Among the other details unveiled by IHG, the hotel will feature several restaurants and cafés, as well asmeeting spaces.

This future opening is part of IHG's objective to reach 200 voco hotels in the next 10 years.
