The "OUI.sncf" transformation is a daring gamble for Voyages-sncf.comthe leader in French e-tourism, weighing in at 4.1 billion euros in business volume in 2016 for 86 million tickets sold, including 75 million in France (+4.41TP3Q/2015). "In a negative context marked by the terrorist attacks, strikes and floods, we succeeded in attracting more customers and serving them better. This trend continued in the 1st quarter of 2017, with growth of 8.8 % in business volume."says a delighted Franck GervaisCEO of Voyages-sncf.com, who, buoyed by these good results, recently announced his departure for the Group. AccorHotels where he will take up the position of Director Europe on 1 November.

The typical profile of a Voyages-sncf customer is "mobile first63 % of them buying their tickets via their smartphone, and more often at the last minute, with 50 % booking their seat less than seven days before departure. Visit business travellers represent 20 % of the site's customers, mainly from VSEs and SMEs. To coincide with the changeover to the OUI.sncf name, the booking portal is promising the introduction ofa Pro tab and new business functionalities. "The aim is to build customer loyalty with more services before, during and after the journey. The L'Océane TGV to Bordeaux is acting as a laboratory in this respect."says Julien Nicolas, France Director of Voyages-sncf.com. Already, the TERand VTC and iDCAB carpooling and ORICar have been added to the site. "A partnership has also been signed with Restopolitan to give Fréquence cardholders discounts on lunches."he adds. The rest of the menu will be available at the beginning of December.
