Like announced at the end of April, Wheely has its sights set on the Paris travel market. It's official as of 16 September the VTC is making its debut in the capital, having already refined its offering in two other business destinations: London and Moscow. Available both on demand and by advance booking, Wheely advocates a top-of-the-range positioning, with Mercedes-Benz type vehicles, and quotes an average waiting time of 10 minutes.
For business travellers who regularly call at Paris airports, Wheely promises fixed prices that include a 30-minute wait, and a personalised welcome service at Paris-CDG, Orly and Le Bourget. The driver follows the flight of the customer who has pre-booked his VTC in real time, then waits for him in the Arrivals area with a name sign.
Wheely's French offensive is not confined to Paris, as the VTC platform is expected to be present in the Paris region. Côte d'Azur in spring 2020.
