Hyatt was one of the last major hotel groups not to have yet unveiled its plans for hybrid meetings. It has now done so, with the presentation of its series of event packages " Together by Hyatt" . The programme has been designed around four key areas: technology, of course, but also expertise - the kind that Hyatt can offer organisers to make the most of these meetings of a new kind, as well as the well-being of participants and, above all, their safety.
In this context, the 'Care + Security' part of the programme is based on reinforced cleanliness and security protocols, requiring Hyatt hotels worldwide to obtain theGBAC STAR accreditation. Room layout, distancing, signage: these measures have been adapted to host meetings, with the added possibility of helping organisers to frame their events with Covid tests. Hyatt works with specialist suppliers for this purpose. " We are here to help organisers explore the possibilities and reach their participants in a creative and effective way." said Jack Horne, Hyatt's Global Head of Sales and Revenue.
Creativity and efficiency are naturally linked to the quality of the technology supporting hybrid meetings. In this context, while a player like Accor, for example, has turned to an American giantMicrosoft, Hyatt has turned to a French start-up ! In this case, Swapcard, which specialises in hybrid events and artificial intelligence, applied in particular to the experience of remote participants. The result of this collaboration is the "Together by Hyatt Powered by Swapcard" technology platform, which gives organisers access to a tailor-made solution to unify on-site and virtual experiences.
At the same time, while many professionals look at these hybrid meetings with bewilderment, the Together by Hyatt programme aims to help them make the most of them. This includes experts in the hotels ready to help organisers design their hybrid event, but also a support team who will be able to respond in real time to participants' technological problems or help the speakers.
To take things a step further, Hyatt is also offering to sponsor its most loyal organisers in two ways: either with the Global Biorisk Advisory Council, for training dedicated to the health and safety aspects of events; or with the Virtual Events Institute, whose certified training helps organisers perfect their knowledge of hybrid events.
Finally, the last part of this series of offers concerns the participants themselves, whose bodies and minds may have been shaken by months and months of confinement and uncertainty. Together by Hyatt is therefore designed to be an integral part of the experience. well-being at the heart of professional eventss. Meeting planners, for example, can punctuate their meetings with sessions of meditation, breathing exercises or relaxation music, all offered by Headspace, the world leader in mindfulness.
In addition, Hyatt, owner of the top-of-the-range wellness brand MiravalThe Miraval project, for example, brings synergies into play internally. Miraval's experts have designed a number of experiments which can also be added to the agenda of meetings, such as stretching exercises or yoga-inspired activities focusing on attention to intentions.
Finally, since the quality of the catering is also a dimension of well-being, Hyatt is developing its culinary offerings in creative ways for both on-site and remote participants. And that's just the beginning, by sending them recipe cards and shopping lists.
