Lufthansa extends the concept of couchette seats in economy class

With initial experience on a number of intercontinental airlines, Lufthansa offers sleeper berths on more long-haul flights. A real added value for economy class passengers.

The German airline Lufthansa has extended its its "Sleeper's Row" concept from 2 August. This service offers economy class passengers the chance to reserve three to four seats in the same row in order to use them as sleeping berths on destinations that are roughly equivalent to an 11-hour flight.
