Volotea to link Nantes airport to Rome twice a week

Volotea is preparing for the arrival of warmer weather with the announcement of new flights fromairport Nantes. While the destinations unveiled on 22 December are mainly aimed at leisure customers, business travellers from Nantes will be able to take advantage of a new route to a European capital. The low-cost airline plans to connect Rome. Two flights a week will be operated between Nantes and the Eternal City from 8 April, every Monday and Friday. In total, Volotea plans to offer almost 28,000 seats on this new route. Brindisi, Mykonos and Heraklion are the three other destinations announced by the airline for departure from Nantes airport.

" This is a great success for us, and illustrates our continuous growth over the last ten years. Volotea has doubled the number of jobs since setting up in Nantes in December 2012. We have contributed to the creation of 117 direct jobs (vs. 50 in 2012) and 585 indirect jobs in the Nantes area. ".
