Travel planning within Asia just got even easier with the latest evolution of the AirAsia Super App: AirAsia transport. The new service allows users to book bus, train and ferry tickets seamlessly on the same platform they use to book their flights or holidays.
The SuperApp AirAsia has become one of Asia's leading online travel agencies in just a few years. It offers flights on more than 700 carriers worldwide and stays in more than 700,000 hotels via its platform..
The integration of other modes of transport is an undeniable plus. The application works with more than 4,000 transport operators across the ten ASEAN member countries. (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). The service is managed by 12Go, one of Asia's largest providers of ground transport services.
Commenting on the launch of this new transport service, Eugene Seethe head of AirAsia transport, explained: " Our main objective has always been to enhance the AirAsia Super App experience, in particular by introducing products and services that bring added value to the traveller. The addition of airasia transport to our range of travel offers is part of this strategy, car it gives our users access to alternative modes of transport to complete their booking experience all within a platform that offers complete transparency on the services" .
In future, the app will be able to integrate the entire travel offering, including hotel reservations and AirAsia Ride, the app's VTC service, which will be launched in 2021.
