What difficulties do you encounter when setting up in South Africa?
A. T. - The French economic mission is extremely dynamic and France's foreign trade advisers are ready to help French SMEs to set up business. Are there any niche markets in South Africa for French SMEs?
A. T. - French SMEs looking to invest internationally will be very welcome in South Africa, where the business climate is healthy and pleasant. But South African entrepreneurs are experienced and have not waited for the arrival of foreign investors to succeed, or even excel. The competition is as serious as in France. However, South Africa is an excellent springboard for neighbouring countries.
