Study: making the case for multimodal travel

There is still a long way to go for a more sustainable approach to commuting. But the French professionals seem ready to make the switch, provided they are encouraged to do so and viable options are available. This is the lesson to be learned from the study recently published by Enterprise. The starting point is the fact that the personal vehicle is still an essential part of the commuting. Nearly eight out of ten professionals (78%) use it to get to work. And in 16% of cases, they do so more than four times a month. Conversely, only 26% use public transport for their travels...
