Hilton unveils its 2024 openings

The Hilton Group has announced the 24 major hotel openings expected in 2024. These include several business hotels from Shanghai to Singapore, not forgetting Vienna and Manama.

The first Christmas decorations have barely arrived, and already the Hilton group is looking ahead to next year, unveiling its 24 most exciting openings expected in 2024. The year will be marked across the Atlantic by three major openings in Nashville - an upscale Canopy hotel, another from the new Tempo lifestyle brand and a Homewood Suites extended-stay property - and by the debut of the Signia by Hilton brand in Atlanta. Specialising in MICE, Signia will unveil a 976-room flagship hotel with 10,000 sq. m. of meeting and event space - including the largest ballroom in the state of Georgia and an outdoor area - all with direct access to the Georgia World Congress Center.

Other business hotels are also expected closer to home, in the EMEA region. In Manama, the Bahrain Financial Harbour business district will be home to a luxury Conrad hotel with a predominantly residential feel, complete with three meeting rooms. Positioned in a more economical segment, the Hampton by Hilton brand is preparing for two openings in the second half of the year with its appearance in the Johannesburg business district with the Hampton by Hilton Grayston Sandton and, above all, the unveiling of the the largest Hampton hotel in Europe, the Hampton by Hilton Vienna City West, with 358 rooms.

Known for its charming boutique hotels, the Curio Collection is set to unveil its new establishment at the Cité de la Gastronomie et du Vin in Dijon, Hôtel Sainte-AnneThe Anglo American Hotel Florence has been added to its portfolio. This historic Tuscan establishment, formerly managed by NH Hotels, is currently undergoing renovation.

As far as Asia is concerned, the Conrad brand is expected to be present both in China, in one of the new skyscrapers in Chongqing, with a 275-room hotel including a 1,300 m² MICE area, and in China, in one of the new skyscrapers in Chongqing, with a 275-room hotel including a 1,300 m² MICE area.in Singaporejust off Orchard Road. Housed in the former Regent Hotel, this second local representative of the luxury brand, once renovated, will offer 445 rooms and suites, more than 1,500 m² of meeting space and numerous bars and restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Summer Palace.

Other banners of the American group are in the starting blocks to discover new destinations with a top-of-the-range DoubleTree hotel in Vientiane, Laos, or the Asian debut of Motto by Hilton. In the second quarter of 2024, this new lifestyle brand combining compact rooms and lively living spaces will set up in Hong Kong's Sheung Wan district, with a hotel offering 274 rooms, two restaurants and meeting facilities.

But the future of the American group, in Asia as in the rest of the world, also lies with its flagship Hilton brand. Expected in Kathmandu and Kyoto next year, it will above all be unveiling a new flagship in Shanghai. Located in the heart of the Chinese megalopolis, close to People's Square and the Jing'an business district, the Hilton Shanghai City Centre will be housed within the walls of an existing hotel and will offer 382 rooms and almost 1,000 m² of MICE space to business travellers visiting this key Asian destination.
