Qatar Airways to increase service to Paris to 11 flights a week

Qatar Airways and catering company gategroup have announced a new partnership focused on enhancing the in-flight culinary experience. Structured around a commercial management agreement, this partnership aims to work closely together on various aspects of on-board catering. It includes passenger dining experiences, the supply chain, the promotion of healthy eating and the implementation of sustainable practices.

This alliance will enable Qatar Airways to further strengthen its commitment to excellence culinary. gategroup's expertise will be applied to menu design, services and operational optimisation.

The partnership with gategroupe will make it possible to  Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, " contribute to Qatar Airways' brand awareness by offering refined culinary experiences to our customers, both in-flight and on the ground, in our world-class lounges at Hamad International Airport" .

The gategroup culinary team will be based in Doha and will contribute to development of a culinary studio dedicated to Qatar Airways. This will facilitate innovation, co-creation and effective menu design.

The new culinary creations will focus on quality ingredients for health and nutrition. This approach will favour the use of local products to promote sustainability and authenticity.while actively supporting local businesses.

This improvement in gastronomic quality will be based on rigorous processes for menu development, production efficiency and systematic quality control. Thanks to this collaboration, the airline will be able to explore new sources of revenue and optimise its operational and commercial efficiency.
