After Geneva recently, and with London to come in early June and the first appearance in Europe of YotelPad, its aparthotel offering, the Yotel brand will continue its expansion in the world's major cities in early 2025 in Tokyo, in the Ginza district. Almost a return to its roots for this concept, initially based on the idea of capsule hotelsThe hotel has been designed with technology in mind. Located in the very heart of the Japanese capital, just a fifteen-minute walk from Tokyo station, the Narita Express and Shinkansen trains leaving from all over the country, the hotel will be no exception, offering 244 compact, comfortable rooms and a digital experience enhanced by a robot concierge.

For this launch in Japan, Yotel has enlisted the help of a partner better known to business travellers for its upmarket city residences: Frasers Hospitality. An association that is already seeing further than this flagship in the heart of Tokyo. Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Sapporo, Yokohama, Fukuoka, Nagoya: all these major cities could see Yotel hotels appear in the future. At the same time, the group is also planning to roll out its original YotelAir concept, i.e. compact hotels in major transit areas, including railway stations and Japanese airports.

We are delighted to be working with an investor who shares our commitment to innovation and excellence in the hotel industry." commented Hubert Viriot, CEO of Yotel. For his part, Eu Chin Fen, Managing Director of Frasers Hospitality, was delighted " a mutually beneficial long-term partnership" . While Yotel currently only has two hotels in Singapore, one at Changi airport and the other near Orchard Road, the brand growth in Asia is set to accelerate. In addition to the planned growth in Japan, Yotels are already on the horizon in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur for 2025/2026.
