This pass offers pre-departure exchanges, refunds and flexibility, as passengers are not required to change their ticket in order to board the TGV preceding or following the one previously booked. Thalys then launched ThePass Premium, aimed at very frequent travellers between Paris and Brussels, selling for ? 5,988 a year plus an access fee of ? 30 per journey in first class, this Pass gives travellers total flexibility, with the possibility of taking any train during the day, while allowing unlimited exchanges and full ticket refunds up to 1 hour after departure.
Despite its high cost, Thalys assures that this subscription pays for itself after 29 round trips in a year. Passengers subscribing to ThePass Business or ThePass Premium can also join the TheCard loyalty programme with Platinium status, an additional advantage: the card will enable them to travel Ticketless since it integrates their season ticket data and the identifiers of the journeys booked.
