While the Wyndham group's MICE brand had disappeared from the radar in the Paris region since the changeover to Mercure sign of Dolce Chantilly in 2019, it is back in force in the Yvelines, at what was once the Domaine du Montcel. In addition to the chic Brasserie la Toile, run by chef Benoist Rambaud, participants will also have the use of their own restaurant, La Manufacture, located in three historic rooms of the château. As for accommodation, there are 178 options, divided into 150 rooms, 14 suites and 14 flats. As a reminder of the history of the place, the headboards are inspired by the toile de Jouy or the painter Corot, known among other things for his verdant landscapes in the neighbouring Bièvre valley.
Alongside this opening, the Dolce brand has other destinations to offer travellers and business groups. In particular, the brand has just taken its first steps in TurkeyThis 155-room and suite hotel is located close to the seaside resort of Cesme Alacati. As well as numerous restaurants and leisure facilities, this resort also has a MICE component with a 500 m² space, complete with a private beach and garden for hosting outdoor events.
Closer to home, Dolce set up last year near Milan Malpensa airport, in Somma Lombardo, with a 207-room and suite hotel including five conference rooms for up to 400 people. It is continuing its tour of major European cities this year, with the takeover next August of an existing establishment near BarcelonaThe Barcelona Golf Resort is located on the edge of two 9-hole and 18-hole courses designed by Jose Maria Olazabal. This establishment combines relaxation and business with its 150 rooms and 600 m² of conference space, divided into five meeting rooms.
