The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau attributes this trend to major events such as the Alzheimer's Association International Conference. This conference attracted more than 12,000 people from over 100 countries. The connectivity provided by American Airlines also contributed to these good results, particularly on the transatlantic route, with new flights to Copenhagen, Naples and Nice.
