The 2025 year for the Hilton group was marked by the return to business of the legendary Waldorf Astoria from New York. Reboot for the luxury brand in 2026 with the opening of a hotel within the very noble and very prestigious Admiralty Arch in London. While other variants of the Waldorf Astoria brand will be unveiled next year in Tokyo and Sydney, the highlight of 2027 for the Hilton group will undoubtedly be the launch of NoMad Detroit. Primarily because this hotel will symbolize the American group’s expansion into the lifestyle segment, but also because this opening will launch the rollout of a brand acquired by Hilton in 2024.

With only one hotel in London so far, the NoMad brand will soon be launching a second address in Singapore. And thus a third one in Detroit as early as spring 2027. Located in the iconic Michigan Central Station, which has been transformed into a luxury and lifestyle hotel, NoMad Detroit will offer 176 rooms and a 420 m² MICE space, in addition to a bar-lounge and a signature restaurant.

A focal point of the American group’s development next year, this establishment will add to a long list of openings in North America, some in the lifestyle segment with a recently acquired brand, Graduate, focused on hotels within university campuses. In this context, Graduate will make its debut in Laramie, thanks to the conversion of an existing hotel connected to the conference center of the University of Wyoming, but also near the University of Kansas or in the university city of Tuscaloosa, in Alabama.

Among the other future destinations offered to business travelers are the Canopy New York City 34th Street, a new 365-room hotel in the heart of Midtown expected in the first quarter of 2027, as well as the Hotel Lexicon in Boston, a member of the Tapestry Collection or the Maison Dupuy in New Orleans, a Curio Collection by Hilton property located in the French Quarter and featuring 200 rooms and a MICE space of nearly 850 m².

In the long-stay segment, Home2 Suites by Hilton aparthotels will appear near the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville and in the Downtown University area of Knoxville, USA, as well as near the Charlottetown airport in Canada. For its part, Homewood Suites will offer new properties in downtown Seattle and in the Miami South neighborhood. In parallel, Hilton will continue to grow its LivSmart Studios brand with locations in Cincinnati, Augusta and Oklahoma City Bricktown. Meanwhile, Tempo, in Tucson in Arizona, as well as in the heart of Virginia Beach’s central business district, and Motto, in Indianapolis, will complement this development.

While business travelers will find other new hotels from the group in Latin America – for example a Homewood Suites in Florianópolis, Brazil, or the Chelsea Bogota Parque 93 (Tapestry Collection) and Jean Hotel (Curio Collection) in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City – European customers will also enjoy new establishments, notably in Greece with a luxurious Conrad in Corfu and a Hilton on the island of Mykonos. But nomadic professionals will be especially interested in the entry into the Curio Collection of a historic establishment in Switzerland, the Waldhaus Flims. A hotel whose history dates back to 1877 and which caters to incentive ski trips as well as all types of events, from board meetings to large gatherings in its ballroom.

But it is in Asia-Pacific that Hilton will offer most of its new hotels adapted for meetings and events next year. Starting with two establishments of its high-end brand specializing in large-scale MICE events, Signia Hilton, which is awaiting its first address in this part of the world in Tainan, on the island of Taiwan in the first quarter. An establishment that will be completed at the end of the year by Signia Hilton Jaipur, in India, featuring 289 rooms and more than 2,200 m² of event spaces, including a huge ballroom.

Also in this sector, Hilton will take advantage of the APEC economic leaders’ meeting, which will be held in 2027 in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, to propose two establishments that will contribute to the development of an important hotel and event hub in the seaside destination: a Hilton with more than 900 rooms and a luxurious Conrad with 208 rooms.

If the opening of a second address for this brand in Bangkok is planned early next year along Sukhumvit Road, the luxury offering of the Hilton group in Asia-Pacific will be enriched especially by two Waldorf Astorias in the second half of the year. With an emblematic opening in Tokyo in the autumn, in the Nihonbashi neighborhood near the train station, with a privileged footprint of 197 rooms, complemented by three restaurants, an indoor pool, and nearly 600 m² of meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom. Always in the autumn, the Waldorf Astoria brand will make its debut in Sydney with a hotel located at Circular Quay. Also worth noting is the opening in late 2027 of a Motto by Hilton hotel in the Australian metropolis; the one in Shanghai is also expected in the second quarter, in the Huangpu neighborhood.
