Smartwingswhich is both an offshoot and parent company of the former CSA, is finally taking over from the defunct Czech national airline. The company, mainly confined to leisure routes, is now boosting its network to the main European cities from Prague. It inaugurates 7 new ports of call for its new winter flight programme from 26 October.
French-speaking Europe is particularly favoured with the launch of a new route Prague-Brussels with 12 flights a week as well as Toulouse with two frequencies per week. Paris CDG will now be linked by three daily flights to the Czech capital. All these routes will be operated in Airbus A220 149 single-class seats.
In addition to this "francophone" programme, Smartwings is inaugurating 4 flights a week to Barcelona and Rome-Fiumicino 2 flights a week to Bilbao and Porto. The airline will also offer a daily flight to Bucharest. It should be noted that the airline will increase its daily flights to 12 weekly flights to Malaga.
" We strive to add new and exciting services for our customers and expand our portfolio of destinations. We are delighted that these destinations are now even more accessible from Prague thanks to Smartwings' direct flights. "said Michal Váňa, Sales Director, Smartwings.
