Czech company Smartwings strengthens its position in French-speaking Europe

Czech airline Smartwings is going from strength to strength, inaugurating seven new destinations this month. These include Brussels and Toulouse. While Paris will benefit from more frequencies.

Smartwingswhich is both an offshoot and parent company of the former CSA, is finally taking over from the defunct Czech national airline. The company, mainly confined to leisure routes, is now boosting its network to the main European cities from Prague. It inaugurates 7 new ports of call for its new winter flight programme from 26 October.

French-speaking Europe is particularly favoured with the launch of a new route Prague-Brussels with 12 flights a week as well as Toulouse with two frequencies per week. Paris CDG will now be linked by three daily flights to the...
