Hotel Meta - New York (during the year)
The future third-tallest hotel in New York when completed, behind the Four Seasons and the Marriott Courtyard/Residence Inn combo near Central Park. Although the establishment has not yet been given a definitive name - the POA studio, which worked on the project, has nonetheless suggested a possible Tribute Portfolio, by Marriott - and its opening date has not yet been specified, one thing is certain: it is thinking big. Housed in a 51-storey tower whose long, Rubik's Cube-like silhouette stands out against the skyline of the Hudson Yards business district, the establishment will offer 379 rooms, a restaurant and almost 1,000 m² dedicated to meetings and events, including a ballroom. This will be a new base for business travellers to New York's major convention centre, the Javits Center, next door to the hotel.
Only YOU Hotel New York (winter)

A key opening for the Palladium group. Known for its fine resorts on the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean, the Spanish hotelier is preparing to move into the heart of Manhattan in the last quarter of 2026. For this prime location, just a stone's throw from Times Square and Broadway on 45th Street, the Palladium group has called on a big name, Lázaro Rosa-Violán, to take charge of the design of this hotel for the lifestyle brand Only You, which already has a presence in Madrid and has other projects under way in Venice and Ibiza, Palladium's stronghold. With its warm interiors and sophisticated decor, the hotel is in keeping with the New York atmosphere and will offer business travellers 138 rooms, a bar and a restaurant, as well as meeting rooms, including a private mezzanine room that can accommodate between 8 and 10 people.
The Livingston, JdV by Hyatt - New York (beginning of the year)
In February, the Hyatt group will open its first hotel in Brooklyn, in the Cultural District. Close to the Barclays Center, the venue where the Nets play in the NBA, this top-of-the-range establishment, part of the JdV - for Joie de Vivre - brand, offers travellers 104 rooms, a restaurant focusing on local produce and, on its rooftop, an event space for 50 people, The Perch, with a view over the whole of DoBro - Downtown Brooklyn.
The Rhyland - New York (spring)

Kimpton Era Midtown New York (spring)

The luxury lifestyle brand Kimpton Hotels, which originated in San Francisco but has since been taken over by the IHG group, is to add a third address in New York. After the outskirts of Times Square and the Chelsea district, the Kimpton Era Midtown New York will open in the heart of Manhattan. Just a stone's throw from the Rockfeller Center, the hotel will be housed in a new 33-storey tower, leaving ample space for some 530 rooms and suites. But that's not all: the hotel will also feature a brasserie, taqueria and izakaya. With a direct view of Rockfeller Center.
Delano Miami Beach (beginning of the year)

The glamour is back for the Delano Miami Beach. A South Beach landmark since its opening in 1947, revisited in the 90s by Philippe Starck and Ian Schrager, the Delano Miami Beach is set to regain its place in the destination. Without losing its original Art Deco influences, the legendary Rose Bar will be revived, and a new contemporary elegance will be added. Renovated, this luxury lifestyle hotel, which has been part of the Accor group since the takeover of American group SBE in 2020, will offer 171 rooms and suites, including penthouses and poolside bungalows. Also on the programme are four restaurant and bar concepts, including a recreation of what made the hotel famous in the first place, its famous Rose Bar, a meeting place for the Hollywood gotha and Miami high society.
Fairmont New Orleans (summer)

Luxury brand Fairmont is adding New Orleans to its list of American destinations by helping to rejuvenate a tower in the heart of its business district. This building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was designed in the 1970s by Skidmore Owings & Merrill in an international style and once housed the headquarters of the Bank of New Orleans. Renovated and renamed 1010 Common, this 31-storey building will continue to house offices, but at the same time is turning its attention to hospitality with a prestigious 250-room and suite hotel. Crowned by a rooftop with a swimming pool and a view of the neighbouring French Quarter, dominated by a bar running along the top two floors of the tower and enhanced by a spa, the Fairmont New Orleans will also boast a MICE space of almost 2,000 m², including a ballroom and meeting rooms.
Signia by Hilton Indianapolis (autumn)
The MICE market is smiling on the Signia by Hilton brand. Its model: hundreds and hundreds of rooms, thousands of square metres for meetings and conferences, plus a host of bars and restaurants. This is already the case in Atlanta in 2023, and will be the case this year in Indianapolis, with a jumbo hotel directly linked to the Indiana Convention Center, which will also offer one of the ten largest ballrooms in the United States, with its 4,600 square metres, in addition to numerous meeting rooms. But the brand can also rely on large MICE resorts, such as the conversion, to be completed next spring, of the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, currently under the Curio Collection by Hilton banner.
The Knox Auberge Dallas (during the year)

Luxury in Dallas. Located on Knox Street, this new hotel from the Auberge Collection group is in keeping with the atmosphere of this chic, lifestyle district of the Texas metropolis, with a pied-à-terre of 140 rooms and suites. 1 Hotel Austin (summer)

Another new luxury hotel is expected in Texas this year, in the capital Austin. The Starwood Hotels group - which has been off the radar since Marriott took over this former global hotel player, but was relaunched last year by its former CEO Barry Sternlicht - will be setting up shop on the edge of Waller Creek Park and the artificial Lady Bird Lake. An urban environment tinged with green, in keeping with the sustainable DNA of 1 Hotels. However, this future establishment will be part of the skyline of the Rainey Street District, housed as it is in the Waterline tower, a 74-storey skyscraper. In other words, the tallest building in the whole of Texas, and even in the southern United States, which will house offices and top-of-the-range residences. In addition to the hotel on the first floors, which will offer breathtaking views, nearly 250 rooms and suites, a swimming pool and rooftop bar, plus six meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces.
The Cooper - Charleston (spring)

The only luxury hotel on the waterfront, along the Cooper River, in the lively heart of Charleston's peninsula: when it opens, The Cooper will have a key position in South Carolina's metropolis. But, with its 191 rooms and suites, it will be distinguished not only by this privileged location. With its décor designed by Champalimaud and Meyer Davis and inspired by the surrounding French Quarter, The Cooper will be a contemporary haven combining elegance with excellence and exclusivity, with its own private marina. Expected to be part of Preferred Hotels' Legend collection, the hotel offers four distinct culinary experiences and features a spa and outdoor infinity pool. It's the perfect setting for outdoor events, as well as indoor events in its ballroom overlooking the seafront.

Travellers will be able to enjoy its three-storey spa, as well as The Big Four restaurant, a city institution that will be celebrating its fiftieth anniversary in style.
Public West Hollywood (spring)
Launched in New York by one of the pioneers of the trendy hotel industry, Ian Schrager, the Public brand will be adding a second much-anticipated address in Los Angeles, on the Sunset Strip. Located in the heart of Hollywood, the hotel revisits an establishment already known for its lifestyle spirit, The Standard. Redesigned by Ian Scharger in collaboration with British designer John Pawson, the Public West Hollywood embodies a certain idea of accessible luxury - rates in New York, for example, range from 300 to 450 dollars - while offering travellers 150 rooms and suites with a minimalist design, a swimming pool, several bar and restaurant concepts and, to top it all off, a rooftop terrace. A venue that will undoubtedly be in demand for events with a 360° view of Los Angeles.
Mexico
Park Hyatt Mexico City - The Standard, Mexico City (autumn)

From the very chic in the Polanco district with a Park Hyatt, to the radically lifestyle with The Standard hotel in the Tabacalera district: later this year, the Hyatt group will be offering two new jewels in its Mexico portfolio. Spa, swimming pool, world-class restaurant and bar, meeting facilities: the Park Hyatt (pictured here), with 155 rooms and suites, is aimed at a luxury clientele in search of exclusivity, while The Standard plays on its sense of contemporary aesthetics and upmarket entertainment to win over travellers. With its rooftop pool, bar and restaurant overlooking the Monumento a la Revolución, late-night dining and secret garden, the hotel has plenty to appeal to both local and visiting guests. For the latter, the Standard Mexico City will offer 208 rooms and suites, all with private balconies.

Its name is Hyde, Hyde Mexico City Reforma. The lifestyle brand from Ennismore, the Accor group subsidiary dedicated to contemporary hotels, is continuing its worldwide expansion with a prestigious address in the Mexican capital, on Paseo de la Reforma, the city's main cultural and economic thoroughfare. With its bohemian spirit, the Hyde Mexico City Reforma will offer 106 rooms, a Japanese restaurant with refined interiors, a cocktail bar and meeting spaces.
Pendry Mexico City (during 2026)

The American brand Pendry will soon be spreading its idea of luxury in Mexico City with a 114-room and suite hotel located in the popular traveller district of Roma Norte, at the heart of the Mexican capital's cultural scene. Designed in partnership with local architectural firms Central de Arquitectura and IZ Arquitectos, and New York-based Avroko for design, the property will offer guests a variety of dining experiences, including a rooftop lounge restaurant and the timeless Bar Pendry. While the hotel's rooftop will also house a swimming pool, Pendry Mexico City's outdoor spaces, as well as dedicated indoor rooms, will lend themselves to hosting business meetings.
Colombia
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena (beginning of year)

New with old. The Four Seasons group will soon be setting up shop in Cartagena, Colombia, revisiting a number of historic buildings in the picturesque Getsemaní district. These include, from oldest to newest, the 16th-century cloister of Saint Francis, four old theatres, some as old as the cloister, and a nightclub dating back to the 1920s, Club Cartagena. Backed by the Colombian group Valorem and its subsidiary San Francisco Investments, the refurbishment will create a 132-room luxury hotel ideally located at the gateway to the UNESCO-listed historic centre. On the programme for this extraordinary hotel: a rooftop, two swimming pools and a spa, eight restaurants and bars and, for seminars and incentive breaks, unusual event spaces, with a ballroom for 100 people in the former Club Cartagena and a larger one, of almost 500 m², in one of the historic theatres.
