Admittedly, there are more and more agreements to make Starlink the new standard for in-flight connectivity. It's a growing trend, enabling business travellers to remain operational during a short or long-haul flight. But airlines are not forgetting the entertainment side of things. Starting with Air France, which, less than a year after subscribing to Canal+, is adding another string to its IFE bow.

Air France announced a new agreement on 15 January. The French airline is now joining forces with Apple TV to enhance its catalogue. The result: more than 45 hours of original content for passengers on long-haul flights. "In addition, free access to Apple TV is also offered directly via the access portal to Air France's new very high-speed wifi, which is gradually being rolled out on all its aircraft", says Air France. The airline is offering one week's free access to Apple TV content via the portal connecting to its new ultra high-speed wifi.
