We will have to wait until November 20th to see easyJet connecting Alsace to a new European destination – but bookings are already open. The low-cost airline announced on Thursday that it will be heading to Bristol for the winter.

Two flights per week will be operated by easyJet, on Mondays and Fridays. Bristol thus becomes easyJet's eleventh destination departing from Strasbourgand the 4e in the United Kingdom.

" We are delighted that the Easyjet teams are renewing their confidence with the announcement of a new destination from Strasbourg. » testifies Gilles Tellier. The Director of Strasbourg Airport continues: « This new route represents an opportunity for the entire Alsace region to promote its heritage, shine with its hospitality, and the magic of the festive season as Christmas approaches. Alsace residents, meanwhile, will be able to treat themselves to a city break in Bristol, less than 2 hours from Strasbourg; a wonderful escape to a city with a particularly unique, cultural, and dynamic heritage. We would like to thank Easyjet for connecting Strasbourg and its region beyond our borders. ".
