The Grandes Serres de Pantin will be inaugurated starting November 6th. The site borders the Ourcq canal and covers nearly 4 hectares. It includes a 11,000 m² public hall, renovated by the Moatti-Rivière agency, and 69,000 m² of work spaces.
A spring factory at the end of the 19th century, the site became a steel tube manufacturing facility in the 1940s: the Établissements Pouchard. The company left the premises in 2016. Its 18-meter-high halls have been preserved. Alios has thus organized nearly 300 events there before the work, entrusted in 2024 to Bouygues Bâtiment Ile-de-France.« We are not trying to artificially create this mix: it was already there. The challenge was to preserve it by changing the scale. »That is why we are here today," explains Olivier Raoux, president of Alios Développement.

The Agora is the main space. It covers 2,000 m² and can accommodate up to 3,000 people. The Scène, an auditorium with about 300 seats, is reserved for professional events. In addition, two modular studios are used for exhibitions or corporate events. In the week, workshops also serve as seminar rooms. An immersive sound system designed by Pikip equips the hall. Finally, five food counters each offer a dish for 10 euros.

A complete campus in 2028-2029
A Corten steel pedestrian bridge, inaugurated on September 19, connects the site to the Église de Pantin metro station (line 5). Eight new buildings will then house businesses and schools. An offer of 9,000 m² will combine hospitality and co-living. Delivery of the entire project is scheduled for this horizon. According to the City of Pantin, SNCF Gares & Connexions and the Arep group are to be located in the Grandes Serres.

For event organizers, Grandes Serres thus adds a large capacity venue to the gates of Paris, served by the metro. The venue combines seminar rooms, catering, and cultural programming on the same site. However, the on-site accommodation offer will only be available upon completion of the campus.
