Following in the footsteps of United, which introduced a new passport scanning function on its mobile application this summer, easyJet is breaking new ground in the European market. On 13 October, the airline announced the integration of this function, designed to simplify check-in for passengers. Passengers can now "scan" their passport details using the camera on their smartphone (iOS or Android).
